Q:Choose one field, such as sports, music mathematics, etc. What might these factors—innate ability, motivation, timing, and luck—mean for someone who wants to be an expert in that field? Please give some examples or share some experience.
A:
For this question, I want to use my own experience in dancing to answer it.
First, innate ability. I think this is not the important factor for someone who wants to be an expert in dancing.
Second, motivation. I think this is a very important factor for someone who wants to be a successful dancer. In my opinion, a dancer must have a very strong motivation for dancing or he or she can’t not be an expert in dancing.
Third, timing. This is one more important factor for a person who wants to be a very good dancer. As the saying goes, “Practice makes perfect.”. If you want to dance very well, you need to spend a lot of time practicing.
Last but not least is luck. I think this is also an important factor for someone who wants to be successful in dancing but less important than motivation and timing.
To sum up, I think motivation and timing are the most important factors for someone who wants to be an expert in dancing.
Reflection:
I think this article is quite interesting for me because the author uses many different opinions to talk about the issue. I think I learned a lot of things from the article.
