Q:
This article has listed four strategies. Is there any suitable for you? Additionally, what strategy do you usually use to memorize things? Please give examples and share your (both sucessful or fail experiare fine) experience.
A:
The article “How to Maximize Your Memory” has listed four strategies to help people enhance their memories. They are “Rehearsal”, ”Elaborative” ”Processing”, ”Mnemonics”, and ”Retrieval Practice”.
I think these four strategies are really useful for me and I will use them in my daily life. In my own experience, I think “Rehearsal” is the most suitable one for me. When I prepared for the Toeic Test, I had to memorize vocabulary as much as I could. During the time of preparing the test, I would keep reading the vocabulary out loud again and again and I found that it was really effective for me to memorize the vocabulary.
To sum up, I think “Rehearsal” is the strategy that I usually use to memorize things, especially for learning vocabulary. For other strategies, I think it’s useful for me too and I would like to try different strategies to memorize things in the future.
Reflection:
I think this article is really useful for me. It provides some ways to maximize my memory and I think I can really use them in my daily life.
Good job. But try to make the senteces into a paragraph form, not sentence by sentence. Try to write more next time, you can talk more about your personal experience. You can do it.
